As a founder, entrepreneur and co-partner, I am familiar with all the ups and downs of everyday business life. I have 30 years of experience as a managing director in the publishing, media and retail industry with responsibility for sales and results for companies with up to 70 million euros and up to 300 employees.
As a consultant, entrepreneur and interim manager, I support companies and organizations in mastering their challenges and achieving sustainable positive results. In doing so, I rely on a clear customer focus, open communication and the contributions of all those involved. With my hands-on mentality, I ensure rapid, team- and trust-based implementation.
We have more opportunities to develop new things than ever before. That is great.
To ensure that the new things do good, we should combine creativity and responsibility, evaluate the technologies wisely and act economically.
My experience as a product manager, publishing director and managing director in media companies such as Carl Hanser Verlag and Haufe Lexware helps me to focus on what is feasible. Entrepreneurial thinking always means focusing on what you can achieve.
As a founder and coach of start-ups, I love the rapid development of ideas into prototypes. Feeling the energy of creative collaboration is the best motivation, like doping without banned substances.
As a professor of digital communication and change, I bring logical thinking and innovative research to the table. We need a critical and at the same time approachable dialogue, especially in times of political mudslinging and the manipulation of “social” networks.
Technology is not everything. But without an understanding of technology, it will be difficult to understand everything today.
I have many years of experience in the management of digitization projects in the specialist media sector with a focus on XML content management, web development, online databases, eBooks and mobile apps. I have worked as a consultant, project manager, product owner and speaker, advising trade and specialist publishers on all aspects of digital product development. I also support my clients in the practical implementation of products using agile and classic project management methods. I am also a lecturer at the Akademie der Deutschen Medien and advise the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels in IG Digital.
We need to rethink our idea of creativity in light of developments in the field of AI.
I am a social anthropologist and digital media manager. As a researcher, I have worked in the fields of documentation, photography and art in my home country Venezuela and in Germany, as well as in translation and interpretation. I wrote my master's thesis on artists' first experiences with the AI DALL-E and I am currently researching the intersection of artificial intelligence and creativity.

Since 1991, I have been helping companies, teams and individuals to create an environment characterized by trust and credibility, conducting intercultural training and workshops together with various specialized network partners, building specifically on my knowledge and experience of the cultures of East Asia (especially Japan and China).
Over the past three decades, I have accompanied more than 10,000 managers, team leaders and business professionals in seminars, workshops and coaching sessions. I have also written several books on various topics: Arguing, Protection from Manipulation, Moderation and Ethics.
